The question is how to maintain control over what happens after deployment: content, permissions, device health, integrations, reporting, and response procedures. A platform is more than a content management system

Someone still needs to own content policy, escalation paths, and the business rules behind automation.

The most useful signage platform is the one that fits the criticality of the physical network it supports. Start with the operational moments that cannot be missed, define the governance required to protect them, and build the device, content, and integration model around that standard.
