February 2008 – Peru
During the summer months (December 2007-April 2008), the Banco de Crédito del Peru launched its campaign “We’re With You All Summer” with promotion to attract new clients and surprise current clients.
With this objective in mind, the ad agency Leo Burnett called on SIA Interactive to develop alternative media with an interactive element.
The solution was a series of interactive screens that were implemented within Peru at the Banco de Crédito del Peru branches and at the malls Asia-Sur de Lima and Peru Boulevard Sur Plaza.
At each location, three screens measuring 3X2 (meters) were installed. The screen showed three scenes: a boy with a ball, a boy with a frisbee and a girl with a beach umbrella, all with an attractive beach in the background.
When visitors came close to the activation point, the onscreen characters started moving: the first boy threw the ball, the second tossed the frisbee and the girl opened the umbrella towards the audience. At the same time, the message “We’re With You All Summer, BCP” appeared on screen.
The action was promoted on public billboards, in magazines and at ATMs across Lima.
The public was very impressed with the promotion: they came to interact with characters and to have fun, thus reinforcing the brand’s presence in a positive, entertaining way during the vacation months.
