December 2007 – Orlando, FL.- USA
A golf simulator was developed in which participants use a real golf club to hit a ball connected to a computer.
When the ball is hit, the computer receives data on the speed, direction and impact of the club. These variables are reflected on screen in the ball’s trajectory. In other words, participants play on a virtual golf course that imitates the conditions of the real game, and the participant’s performance depends on his/her swing.
In order to make the surroundings even more real, the space surrounding the game was covered with artificial turf.
