September 2007 – Santiago and Rancagua, Chile
Mall del Centro, a company of the Ripley Group, asked SIA Interactive to create two games for the weekend of Children’s Day at the shopping malls in Santiago and Rancagua.
Two large jungle scenes were set up for the promotion, since the games were a Screaming Race and a Drum Race set in a “Tarzan setting.”
Upon presenting their sales receipts, consumers were able to participate in games in which they played drums or imitate Tarzan’s scream in order to get the highest score.
All players received prizes and participated in raffles for additional prizes.
The response was so high that some participants made more purchases in order to play again.
In many cases, parents played along with their children.
Approximately 800 people per day played the drums and yelled like Tarzan, having fun while shopping.
