May 2006 - USA
Verizon, one of the largest cell phone companies in the United States, launched its new DSL service. On a van that outfitted for the event, 12 notebooks and 3 plasma screens were installed with three solutions developed by SIA Interactive: a service demo with data capture, a slot machine, and a final raffle among all participants.
Verizon’s main objective was to get the word out on the street about the service, as well as to capture the data of potential customers. The solution was implemented in a way that Verizon personnel are able to execute and supervise the action, offering them full control over the promotion.
The promo began in May and runs through the end of the year. To date, the results have been promising: people are enjoying the experience and the client is achieving its goal of creating a large database of potential clients.
“SIA did an incredible job. People are enjoying the experience and many wait in line two or three times. Without a doubt, the animation and the game are attractive and they are perfectly in line with the objective of attracting people of all ages. Clients are finding out about the service and learning more – and leaving us their contact information for the future”.
