The Schering Laboratory participated in the 50th Hospital Congress in Oviedo, where it presented its product Remicade. Schering's agency, Carpe Diem, asked SIA Interactive to develop and implement a Moves Race to entertain booth visitors.

October 2005 - Oviedo, Spain

Organized by the Spanish Society of Hospital Pharmacies, the 50th Hospital Congress was held from September 28th - 30th in the city of Oviedo. At the congress, some of the different problems and challenges facing the pharmaceutical company Schering were discussed.

The Schering Laboratory wanted an innovative booth for this year's congress. The laboratory's marketing agency, Carpe Diem, called upon SIA interactive to implement an interactive game that would accompany the presentation of the product Remicade. The solution was a Moves Race. This game uses SIA Cameraction technology and consists of a race across the beach. Onscreen characters advance as the participants move, and the movements are captured by a video camera.

The solution was a hit and many congress goers returned to the booth to play every day. Out of the approximately 900 people who attended the conference, nearly 600 played the game at least once.

“We really appreciate the hard work done by SIA and we were pleasantly surprised by what an impact a solution of this kind can have at a formal event like a medical conference”.
