The Kellogg's Sales Convention is held in January. At the 2005 convention, which was held at the Aqua Cancun Hotel, executives evaluated the achievements of 2004 and discussed the possibilities for this year in order to outline the objectives for the period.
The convention boasted a series of interactive solutions; the company had stipulated that these must include a test of player abilities. The games included Virtual Penalty Kicks, with a virtual reality helmet and sensors on the foot and head; Bear Race, which uses the proprietary technology SIA-Cameraction, a team race within a 3-D supermarket and the game developed especially for the brand, “100 Kelloggians Say”.
“Our decision to bring in SIA for this convention was a great one. We had never done anything like this before, and the experience proved that this type of activity aids in obtaining productive integration”.
