The large Chilean chain Almacenes París opened a new branch
in the Plaza Norte Mall. To celebrate the inauguration with
its clients, the department store hosted a promo that allowed
participants to win coupons that offered them 5 to 50 percent
off their purchases.
The promo was concentrated in the clothing and shoe departments
and was directed at clients who made purchases with the Almacenes
París charge card. Designed and executed by SIA Chile, the
promotion took place at 20 multimedia kiosks that allowed
participants to play a personalized slot machine. When activated,
the screens showed an animation similar to that of Las Vegas
slot machines, ending with 3 images. Depending on the combinations,
the player obtained the coupon amount.
The promo was a smashing success. Both the participants and
the executives at Almacenes París were more than satisfied
with the results.
