To carry out this promotion, SIA-RPM installed 25 interactive
kiosks that rotated among 50 Carrefour stores across Spain.
The terminals were set up on the sales floor, next to the
Ariel product shelf. A hostess invited shoppers to participate.
SIA-RPM was in charge of the details of the promotion: it
developed the game, provided the kiosks, and handled the logistics
of the promotion.
Upon activation, the game offered participants an animation
similar to that of Las Vegas slot machines, spinning until
stopping on three images. Depending on the combination of
images, players won different prizes. There were vacuum cleaners,
tablecloths, piggybanks, and a special Ariel prize at each
store.
The results of the promotion exceeded all expectations. Additional
prizes had to be sent due to the quantity of people who participated.
"After testing with 4 terminals a few months ago, we were
sure that this interactive game would make the promotion a
success. And we were right: the quantity of participants exceeded
all expectations".
